Risk assessment

This alprazolam powder, ordered on the darknet, did not contain the expected active substance alprazolam, but flualprazolam.

Flualprazolam is an alprazolam derivative and belongs to the group of benzodiazepines. Flualprazolam has never been used as a drug and has hardly been researched. Since flualprazolam is effective in lower doses than alprazolam (flualprazolam is about 3-4 times stronger than alprazolam), there is a risk of overdose if these substances are misdeclared.

According to user reports, flualprazolam is classified as risky: Flualprazolam is a very potent benzodiazepine, but the effect is often perceived by the user as less intense than with other benzodiazepines. Therefore, there is a risk that the user will take an unintentionally high dose that is dangerous to his or her health.

Mixed use with other depressant substances (e.g. codeine, heroin, etc.), dissociatives (e.g. ketamine) and alcohol can lead to unconsciousness and life-threatening respiratory depression.

Medicines bought on the internet are also often misdeclared; always have them tested before use!

Consumption is not advised!

There is hardly any reliable information available on risks, toxicity, side effects and long-term consequences. The following information on flualprazolam is intended only as a guide and is not based on reliable data but on subjective reports from users.

Analysis

Have your substances tested in a Drug Checking

Testing

If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.

Wait and see

Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.

Utensils

Always use your own sniffing utensils when applying powders nasally (sniffing) to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
