Dimethylpentylone sold as mephedrone

Risk assessment
One sample declared as mephedrone did not contain mephedrone but dimethylpentylone.
Dimethylpentylone (also known as dipentylone) is a stimulant from the cathinone group. The effects of mephedrone and dimethylpentylone are probably similar due to their relationship. Users report a stimulating and euphoric effect. Side effects reported include heart palpitations, headaches and anxiety, as well as irritability and bouts of weakness as after-effects.
Due to the lack of scientific studies on dimethylpentylone, we do not recommend its consumption!
With powders and crystalline samples, false declarations occur again and again; it is therefore essential to have these tested before consumption!

Testing
If you do not have the possibility to have substances analysed, always test a small amount to avoid overdoses.
Wait and see
Wait 2 hours after oral intake, as there are always powders / crystals in circulation with unexpected active ingredients, which can have a later onset of action.
Utensils
Always use your own sniffing utensils when applying powders nasally (sniffing) to avoid infecting yourself or others with diseases.
